Pregnancy Exercise

Exercise during pregnancy will help you feel healthy and energetic, carry your baby with ease and grace and prepare you for the physical work of labor.  It will keep you in touch with your changing body and give you confidence in your body’s ability to give birth.  It will also ease and hasten your postpartum recovery.

Post pregnancy Exercise

After childbirth, it takes work to regain tone. Joint instability due to increased levels of the hormone relaxin makes injury more likely, so it is important to know how to exercise safely.  My post pregnancy exercise sessions focus on strengthening the abdominal muscles, closing any rectus separation, toning the pelvic floor, and releasing tension from the neck and shoulders.

We can work for a limited time and develop a routine you can do on your own, or meet on a regular basis to achieve or maintain your desired level of fitness.
